Anxiety Treatment
Anxiety and stress are exhausting, overwhelming, and can even be debilitating. Anxiety comes from many different sources and can wreak havoc in all aspects of a person’s life. Anxiety can leave you feeling afraid, stressed, frantic, on edge, helpless, overwhelmed, and even depressed.
Although anxiety is sometimes caused by a physical health concern, most anxiety is a warning signal that some aspect of our lives needs to change. It is essential to pay attention to the signs of anxiety and learn the tools to cope more effectively through anxiety treatment. If anxiety goes unaddressed, it can escalate into full blown panic attacks or even agoraphobia.
Our team utilizes an integrative, strength-based approach within our anxiety treatment enabling people to utilize their innate strengths, resources, and past successes to overcome the effects of anxiety and stress. We incorporate different therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and even EMDR Therapy when we find that trauma/PTSD is an underlying cause of the symptoms of anxiety.
Our goal is to help clients find relief to their worry, stress, anxiety, and panic attacks as quickly as possible while addressing the core issues that cause the symptoms to create lasting relief, not just the "bandaid" effect. We help clients to reduce the affects of various stressors, while enhancing peace, balance, and harmony from within.

Substance Use & Abuse Counseling
Whether the unhealthy behavior is related to sex, food, substances, shopping, or gambling, it can affect every aspect of your life. Your mental/emotional well-being, physical health, family, relationships, and career all suffer with you.
This type of behavior often results from a person’s maladaptive attempts to cope with a combination of mental, emotional, physical, and relational stressors. Over time, a person develops habitual patterns that are difficult to break leading to a vicious cycle.
Unhealthy behaviors can leave people feeling anxious, depressed, helpless, and sometimes even hopeless. We use a combination of therapeutic approaches to help people overcome these challenges, build a solid foundation for recovery, repair their relationships, and ultimately reclaim their lives.

Grief Counseling
Grief is a normal response to loss and can encompass a myriad of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are unique to each person depending on their culture, background, beliefs, personality, and relationship to what was lost. Grief may come from the death of a loved one, miscarriage or still birth, pet loss, job loss, divorce, trauma, illness, or the loss of one’s identity. For many, the pain is unbearable and they turn to food, drugs, alcohol or any self-destructive behavior to cope.
In our work with clients, we provide a safe, supportive, compassionate, and empathetic therapeutic atmosphere where they can move through the grief process at their own pace.
Our expert clinicians have specialized training in grief and loss. We use an integrative approach to help clients reduce the pain associated with the loss, learn to cope more effectively, and nurture hopes for the future.
We incorporates different therapeutic modalities depending on what stage of grief you're in and what type of grief you're struggling with. Some of the research based method we use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and even EMDR Therapy when we find that trauma/PTSD is an underlying cause of the symptoms of grief.
Trauma Treatment
& PTSD Counseling
A traumatic event can shatter your sense of well-being and security. When someone goes through a traumatic experience, they may feel numb, scared, shocked, confused, anxious, depressed, powerless, and unable to function.
Often times, people who have been through a traumatic experience find themselves reliving the trauma over and over again. These normal reactions to trauma can isolate people from themselves, their relationships, and the important aspects of their personal and professional lives.
Working with a therapist is an essential part of the recovery process. From a strength-based position, we help people to safely process their reactions to the traumatic event and develop healthier coping skills to move forward in life. Although we cannot change the past trauma, we work with people to change their relationship with it creating more space for possibilities of relief, renewal, and recovery.
We also provide EMDR Therapy and trauma counseling for First Responders who struggle with anxiety and PTSD from the work they are exposed to on a daily basis. We have specific counselors on our train that have extensive training to work with First Responders and their families who are certified first responder counselors.
